Family Run Fruit Farm
& Nature Reserve

Welcome to Meadow Lodge Farm

At Meadow Lodge Farm we have 45 acres of traditional fruit orchards situated in a rural setting and we are recognised as a County Wildlife Site due to the variety of wildlife in our orchards.

Whilst growing traditional apples, pears and plums organically we actively manage our land for the benefit of wildlife with woodlands, ponds and wild flowers. We have logged over 40 species of birds, many insectsbutterflies and dragonflies and regularly see haresfoxes and deer.

We sell our fruit to local outlets together with fruit juice and jams made from our produce. We also sell honey made by the bees in the hives which are sited on our farm.

We would love to share our farm with local children and offer free visits to schools.

During your visit we will show you round our orchards and see the different types of fruit that we grow and explain how the orchards are good for wildlife.

As we walk around we will look at different habitats and keep an eye our for birds, animals and insects. We have a pond dipping platform for use if desired. Bring your lunch and enjoy eating in our picnic area or outdoor shelter. We can also provide nature crafts and activities if you wish and the opportunity to visit our bird hide.

Parking for coaches available and toilet facilities on site.

If you would like to come along for a pre-visit to see for yourself what we have to offer and discuss how we can fit in with your curriculum or topic, we would be pleased to welcome you.
